Jake Gyllenhaal’s last movie, “Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time” is coming to DVD & Blu-Ray this September.
The Walt Disney Studios production is set to hit the stores on September 14th in four different versions:
-Single-disc DVD $29.99
-Single-Disc Blu-Ray $39.99
-Triple-Disc DVD + Blu-Ray + Digital Copy $44.99
Each package features it’s own combo of special features (extras):
- Interactive games (Unlock “secrets” in some scenes, turn back time and uncover over 40 spellbinding segments) — on Three disc copies only
- Making Of Prince Of Persia (Behind The Scenes Footage) — All sets
- Deleted scenes — Single-disc Blu-Ray and Three-Disc copies only.

A month or two ago I caught an interview you had on ‘The Morning Show.’ It sounded like you were trying to pull a Broadway production together. I’m not seeing anything on your websites that indicate this has happened as yet, but if/when it does, I will be in the audience.
I was a high school drama coach for many years. I loved the rehearsals and preparations but the performances were gold to me because they are so pure. It didn’t matter whether it was my own group or kids from a different school – that purity was there and it inspired me and touched me more than anything else that happened along the way. Only occasionally do I have that experience in other artistic situations, but the first time I was the audience and you were the actor, I saw it and I just said to myself, “Wow! There it is.”
I hope to be able to be the audience when you are the actor in live performance. Break a leg. Barb
