ContactMusic.com: Jake Gyllenhaal doesn’t expect his current toned physique to last long, but insists he will be ”fat and happy”. He expects to get fat soon.
The actor has stunned fans with his toned physique after working out in preparation for his role in ‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’ – but has warned his supporters that his new shape won’t last long because it was so difficult to achieve.
He said: “I probably put on five pounds of muscle which wasn’t easy. It might look good in the movie but it’s probably going to turn to fat before long.
“I’m going to be fat but I’m going to be happy.”
Jake, 29, recently revealed he is excited about seeing action figure replicas of himself, which will be released around the same time as the action adventure movie.
He said: “A lot of people find it weird to have little action figures of themselves, but I think it’s great.
“In fact it’s awesome! I can’t wait. I’m going to buy loads.”
I have seen a few of your movies…you really are a great actor…I mean that.
What the heck is up with Jake Gyllenhall and being in movies about these fake & wimpy Marines?! He’s a good actor but this is getting out of hand. I don’t know of any Marines that acted or would act as they were portrayed in either of these two movies (Jarhead & Brothers). The brothers that I know would have rather taken a bullet to the head then kill one of their own. Honestly they would have taken that metal pipe and cracked some skulls before dying in a flurry of enemy fire. Hollywood has it all wrong, Marines kick ass and take names and do some scary shit that would make most civilians curl up in the fetal position crying for mom. There is none of this touchy feely crap in the Marine Corps. I hope the next Marine move that he is in accurately portray the Marines as the ass-kickers, life-takers, heart-breakers that they are or we might have some words. They didn’t do all that they did just so you could make these weak portrayals of them. It’s like making fun of the guy that just saved you and your entire family and friends lives, and saved everything that you have and believe in. So good job (Jake Gyllenhall ) on making my list of Farrah Fawcett wan-a-be’s traitors.
